We wanted this booth to feel like more than just a display; we wanted it to feel like a destination. By leaning into the atmosphere of a traditional study, we focused on create a sense of intimacy within the larger show environment. The goal was to invite visitors to linger and appreciate the textures, history, and craftsmanship of the pieces we curated.
The magic of Antiques at the Gardens is the incredible access to dealers from across the country. For our space, we selected pieces that felt collected rather than decorated, emphasizing the "soul" of each antiquity. By layering fine art, vintage textiles, and period furniture, we illustrated how historical pieces can feel entirely relevant in a modern, tailored setting.
Designing for the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was particularly meaningful to me. As a Birmingham native, I’ve long admired the Friends of the Gardens and their work to protect and share the grounds.
